Kelly & Laura have been real estate agents here in the South Bay since 2000, thus have much insight to share about local schools, activities, restaurants & shopping, not to mention their many resources for remodeling, etc.

Although they sell homes all over the South Bay & Beach Cities – Torrance, Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Gardena & Lomita—Kelly & Laura specialize in the Hollywood Riviera, an idyllic neighborhood, in which they both live, that is bounded by Torrance Beach, Redondo Beach & Palos Verdes Estates.  This quaint area has approximately 3100 single-family homes plus some townhouses and condos, many of which have amazing ocean, city lights, and mountain views.  Most were built in the 1950s, but the neighborhood got its start back in the 1920s. There are still a handful of the original 1920s Spanish colonial homes in the area that bring a sense of history and charm to our neighborhood.  Many of the original 50’s homes have been updated or completely rebuilt which makes the neighborhood far from ‘cookie-cutter.’  The area attracts people from all over the South Bay, most of whom never leave once they find a home here.

Kelly & Laura are sisters and business partners. We have been working together since 1996. 1996–1999, we opened our own paint-your-own-pottery studios, “Come Out & Clay” in Norwalk, CT and Mamaroneck, NY. They were two of the top-producing pottery studios in their day, according to our suppliers. We sold those and moved back to ‘ever-sunny’ Redondo Beach, California—where we both had lived since high school days. (We are both “Spartans” South High graduates.) Prior to that, we grew up as young children on the “Main Line” of Philadelphia.

Laura attended UCSB and earned a degree in Business Economics while Kelly attended San Diego State earning a Speech Communication degree and then attended the Design Institute of San Diego earning an Interior Design Degree.

Kelly is married and has 2 girls (18) and (14). Laura has 2 boys—(22) and (16). We both live, work, and play in the Hollywood Riviera. Our kids attend the local schools. We love it here! We both feel so lucky to wake up here every day. It really is a wonderful community!

We both started our real estate careers in 2000. Working first as Coldwell Banker agents in the Malaga Cove office, which is in Palos Verdes Estates. We were named “Rookies of the Year” our first year in business. We work well with each other and love real estate!! We both have different strengths and offer each other lots of moral support—which is important to our clients as well. Everyone needs moral support when they are working through a real estate transaction—whether as a buyer or seller! In 2003, we moved to Re/Max Estate Properties in Palos Verdes and we have really enjoyed our fruitful years there. We were honored to be in the Platinum Club each year there and even more honored to join the elite Chairman’s Circle for the year 2007/2012 & Hall of Fame in 2008. We are both very hardworking, but really enjoy what we do and think it shows. We laugh a lot and most people find that very contagious…another good thing when working through a real estate transaction—a good sense of humor!!

We search until we find the perfect property, combing not only what is ON the market, but also Off-Market properties, and then we help negotiate the best possible deal for you. We like to make sure you understand the comps before making any offers on a property and work closely with you through the inspection phase.
